Job Summary
Yuen Spa is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Spa Receptionist to join our team at the new upcoming South Surrey location! The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients, managing appointments, answering inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong administrative skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with medical or dental office procedures is a plus, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Manage appointment scheduling using booking software and maintain accurate records
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and courteously, providing information or directing calls as needed
- Handle client inquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette
- Perform data entry tasks including updating client information and maintaining electronic files using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and proofreading documents
- Support front desk operations by managing check-ins/check-outs and processing payments using QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software
- Provide customer support by addressing client questions or concerns efficiently and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Support other administrative duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred, especially in medical or dental offices
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry systems
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in typing and proofreading
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Office experience including filing, clerical tasks, and administrative support required
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and phone etiquette essential
- Medical office or dental receptionist experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
