We are looking to fill an immediate full time position for an experienced 5 ton truck driver at Planet Earth Recycling. We proudly service West Kelowna and the Okanagan as a recycling hub for scrap metals, electronics, appliances, and almost everything else!
As a 5 ton truck driver you will be working from our West Kelowna location, providing service to the Okanagan and Southern BC Interior, picking up a variety of recyclable materials from our customers. There is some heavy lifting involved, as well as manual pallet jack operation. Regular hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. There may be some overtime depending on the pickup location, but no overnight runs.
If you have dust allergies, this may not be the job for you. All employees must have steel toe work boots. This can be a fairly labour-intensive job so please keep that in mind when applying.
Full time driver positions start at $22.00 per hour based on experience. We offer flexible availability, regular wage increases based on performance, and a kind and inclusive staff ready to help you learn how we recycle!
