Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers, assisting with warehouse operations, and supporting overall logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with heavy lifting, and the ability to operate forklifts and commercial vehicles. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
- Assist with moving and loading/unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing customer inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
- Support warehouse activities including inventory management, stock movement, and general cleaning
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving
- Prior delivery with dump trailer experience required, including familiarity with moving heavy items with skidsteer
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks involving moving items regularly
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate delivery and inventory management
- Reliable transportation to commute to the sites and delivery locations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
