Construction Surveyor – Nexco Construction Company
Location: 51 Raddall Ave, Dartmouth NS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $28–$35/hour, based on experience

Nexco Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field and office.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using GPS equipment and total stations
- Collect and manage data for topographic, boundary, and construction surveys
- Use software including Trimble Business Centre, Leica Captivate, CAD programs, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Perform utility locating to identify underground services prior to construction
- Review and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare clear and detailed survey reports and documentation
- Work alongside project teams to ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements
- Assist with importing and managing machine control files on job sites
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of surveying experience
- Survey Technician Certificate considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Valid driver’s licence (required)
- Criminal Record check may be required
