White Wilderness Heliskiing is seeking an experienced Head Chef for the upcoming winter season.
This is a hands-on senior culinary position responsible for leading daily kitchen operations and maintaining a consistent standard of preparation, presentation and service.
The Head Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team, taking an active role in preparation, cooking and service while providing clear direction and maintaining an organized, professional kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen preparation and service.
- Maintain established standards for food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Work hands-on throughout preparation, cooking, plating and service.
- Provide direction and support to culinary team members.
- Ensure preparation is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain proper portioning and presentation standards.
- Support menu execution and seasonal menu development.
- Coordinate dietary requirements and food allergies with care and accuracy.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory and stock organization.
- Maintain an efficient, clean and well-organized kitchen.
- Ensure food-safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed.
- Support the Executive Chef with the overall organization and operation of the kitchen.
- Provide leadership and continuity in the Executive Chef's absence.
- Maintain a professional and respectful working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or in a comparable senior culinary position.
- Strong professional cooking and service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support a small culinary team.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, timing, plating and presentation.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain standards in a seasonal lodge environment.
- Reliable, professional and team-oriented approach.
- Culinary certification or Red Seal designation preferred.

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
