Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, customer service, and retail sales.
**Must be ok with animals, we have many shop pets!**
Duties
- Design and assemble floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality presentation
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design options
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage inventory levels of flowers, supplies, and merchandising displays to ensure product availability
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including floral displays and work areas
Requirements
- Prior experience in floral design
- Familiarity with gardening or horticulture is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide outstanding customer service
- Creative flair with an eye for detail in floral arrangement presentation
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail setting
