Job description:
We are a restaurant in the vibrant heart of Leaside, and we’re looking for enthusiastic and hospitality-driven bartenders to join our Front of House team.
Set in a beautiful, bespoke space, our restaurant offers a warm and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Our menu is elevated yet approachable, inspired by French culinary roots with various influences, designed for sharing and relaxed, family-style dining. We also house a Golf Simulator in a dedicated full-service lounge.

What you will do:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards with consistency, quality, and efficiency
- Execute craft and classic cocktail recipes in line with the restaurant’s concept
- Learn the menu(s) and be able to professionally and confidentially articulate them; make appropriate recommendations
- Provide friendly, attentive, and responsible service of drinks and/or food to guests at the bar
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times
- Verify guest age and follow all alcohol service laws and company policies where applicable
- Handle cash, POS transactions, tabs, and payments accurately via TouchBistro
- Monitor guest consumption and manage potential intoxication issues professionally where needed
- Restock bar inventory where applicable; communicate shortages or needs to management
- Clean and polish barware, tools, and workstations before, during, and after shifts
- Collaborate with GM, FoH, and BoH staff (as needed) to ensure smooth service
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Smart Serve® responsible alcohol service certification (or proof of enrollment to complete prior to start) is required
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant environment is required
- Formal bartending/hospitality training/certificate is a nice-to-have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Positive and guest-focused attitude
- Basic numeracy for handling transactions and cash/credit reconciliation
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail techniques is necessary
- Flexibility with shift scheduling (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Team-oriented work ethic and collaborative communication.
