Job Overview
We are seeking three (3) dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our team for the Hardware, Seasonal, and Appliance departments. This role involves engaging with customers to provide expert assistance, product demonstrations, and personalized solutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of retail sales, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or merchandising are highly valued to enhance customer experience and drive sales performance.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting hardware, seasonal items, and appliances that meet their needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various products.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on technical specifications and usage instructions.
- Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and attractive.
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Process customer payments efficiently while ensuring excellent phone etiquette and communication.
- Support inventory management through merchandising, stock replenishment, and product rotation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist with store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, especially in hardware, appliances, or technology sectors is preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for transactions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products through persuasive sales techniques.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
