Job Summary
Artemis PC Pump Systems has an immediate full-time opening for a PC Pump Technician. This position will include not only delivery, testing and assembling progressive cavity pumps but also working with machining equipment, performing shop manual labour, as well as shipping/receiving.
Responsibilities
- Test PC (Progressive Cavity) pumps to meet customer specs
- Shipping/receiving using a loader to load/unload truck
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs and assemblies.
- Conduct inspections of pumps
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities.
Skills
- equipment experience with machinery such as forklifts and ability to operate a truck with a trailer occasionally
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair, electrical systems, and assembly processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment operation tools confidently
- Knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues effectively
- Labour instensive - busy work environment
Wage based on experience
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day; 5 days a week - Monday to Friday. Evening overtime minimal as required; possibility of weekend on call basis
Clean drivers abstract, H2S and First Aid Tickets are an asset
