Position: Production Operator
Location: Oshawa, ON
Pay Rate: $21.99/hour
Night Shift Premium: Additional $1.15/hour
Shift Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Continental Shifts
- Day Shift: 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Night Shift: 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM
- Must be available to work every second weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Position Summary & Responsibilities
Our client is seeking motivated Production Operators to join their manufacturing team in Oshawa, ON. The successful candidates will operate and monitor production and extrusion equipment, ensure materials and work order specifications are followed, perform quality checks, monitor production and waste, and assist with minor machine troubleshooting and routine maintenance. Operators will also be responsible for following all workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining accurate production information.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience is required
- Experience in machine operation, blown film extrusion, flexible packaging, or plastics manufacturing is preferred
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in machine operation and troubleshooting
- Comfortable using computers and production systems
- Able to work independently in a busy manufacturing environment that may be hot at times
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
- Must be available to work 12-hour rotating continental shifts, including every second weekend
