Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems across the organization. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Resolve software problems including application errors, operating system issues, and software troubleshooting on various platforms such as Microsoft Office.
- Assist users with network connectivity issues involving LAN, VPN, firewall configurations, and other network-related concerns.
- Manage service requests using ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Support and configure IT infrastructure including firewalls, LAN setups, and other network devices.
- Maintain documentation of support activities and solutions to improve service quality.
- Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues when necessary and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication.
- Assist in setting up new hardware or software environments and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and network troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with help desk tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy for managing support tickets.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office applications and other common enterprise software.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and desktop support procedures.
- Knowledge of security protocols including firewall management and basic cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

Pay: $38,372.52-$43,000.00 per year
