About the Role
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Contract Video Editor & Production Specialist to support our Creative Services team. This role is ideal for someone with professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, and corporate video production.
The successful candidate will be responsible for editing a variety of promotional, corporate, and social media content while also assisting with on-location video productions. We are looking for someone who can work independently, interpret creative briefs with minimal direction, and consistently deliver polished, high-quality video content that reflects our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit promotional videos, interviews, social media content, and corporate communications
- Interpret creative briefs and produce polished first cuts with minimal supervision
- Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, and branded visual elements
- Perform professional green screen keying and compositing
- Apply colour correction, basic colour grading, and audio editing
- Organize project files, footage, and media assets using efficient workflows
- Export and deliver content optimized for web, social media, presentations, and digital advertising
- Assist with photography and videography during on-location productions
- Set up and operate professional cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production gear
- Prepare, transport, and maintain production equipment before and after shoots
- Collaborate with the Creative Services team to execute creative concepts and meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Professional experience in video editing and post-production
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Experience creating motion graphics and animated content
- Professional experience with green screen keying and compositing
- Knowledge of colour correction, colour grading, and audio editing techniques
- Experience with professional camera systems, lighting, and audio equipment
- Photography and videography experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for on-location productions
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who takes pride in producing polished, professional video content from concept through final delivery. The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, and confident working independently while collaborating effectively with the broader Creative Services team. They should be comfortable transitioning between post-production and on-location filming, bringing strong technical expertise in editing, motion graphics, green screen compositing, lighting, and camera operation.
