JGL Commodities Ltd. is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrator, Logistics, to join our team in Moose Jaw. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a career in agriculture, logistics, and/or transportation.
Working closely with the logistics, trading, and administration teams, the Administrator, Logistics supports the day-to-day coordination and administrative functions that help ensure commodities move efficiently from origin to destination. The role focuses on data entry, shipment tracking, documentation support, communication with carriers and customers, and maintaining organized logistics records and systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter, maintain, and update load information within internal systems
- Assist with load creation, scheduling, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination
- Gather and organize pickup numbers, delivery numbers, shipment details, and supporting documentation
- Maintain logistics spreadsheets, trackers, and shipment records
- Support customs, trucking, rail, and export documentation processes as required
- Communicate with carriers, customers, drivers, plants, and internal teams regarding shipment updates
- Assist with monitoring load statuses and escalating delays or discrepancies when required
- Ensure customer and carrier information is accurately maintained within systems and portals
- Support reporting, administrative tasks, and special projects as required
- Maintain organized logistics and transportation records and files
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- High school diploma required
- Post-secondary education in business, administration, logistics, agriculture, or a related field is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Previous administrative, customer service, logistics, transportation, or data entry experience is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
