Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Casual Housekeeper (May lead to part time), to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Conduct routine commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in shared spaces and private rooms
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate team members
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Support general upkeep of the premises by checking for cleanliness issues or maintenance needs during scheduled inspections
- Follow health and safety protocols consistently to create a safe environment for staff and visitors
- Collaborate with team members to complete special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or additional responsibilities as required
