Casual / Part-Time Store Associate – Forest and Petrolia Locations
Overview
We are looking for reliable and friendly Casual / Part-Time Store Associates to support our thrift store operations in the Forest and Petrolia area.
This is a hands-on store position that includes customer service, cash, donation sorting, pricing, merchandising, cleaning, and general store support.
Saturday availability is required and is not negotiable. Applicants must be available to work Saturdays on a regular basis.
We are currently looking for candidates who are available to work 2 days per week, including one weekday and Saturday, depending on store needs. Work may be scheduled at the Forest and/or Petrolia locations.
Applicants who live in or near Forest or Petrolia, or who are able to reliably commute to these locations, will be given preference.
This position may begin with a limited number of shifts, with the opportunity for additional hours depending on performance, reliability, availability, and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
Operate the cash register and process sales transactions.
Receive, sort, price, tag, and display donated items.
Separate sellable items from damaged or unsellable goods.
Keep the sales floor, donation area, and store clean, organized, and safe.
Replenish shelves, racks, and displays throughout the day.
Support basic merchandising, promotions, and seasonal displays.
Follow instructions from the Store Leader or Store Manager.
Assist with general store duties as needed.
Report customer issues, safety concerns, damaged items, or supply needs.
Qualifications
Must be available to work Saturdays on a regular basis.
Must be available to work 2 days per week, including one weekday and Saturday.
Must be willing and able to work at the Forest and/or Petrolia store locations, depending on operational needs.
Preference will be given to applicants living in or near Forest or Petrolia, or those who can reliably commute to these locations.
Previous retail, customer service, cashier, thrift store, or donation-sorting experience is an asset.
Reliable, punctual, respectful, and able to follow instructions.
Friendly attitude and good customer service skills.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, sorting, lifting, and staying active during the shift.
Willing to help with both customer service and donation sorting.
Pay and Schedule
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Type: Casual / Part-Time
Schedule: 2 days per week, including one weekday and Saturday
Saturday availability: Required and not negotiable

Important Requirements
Applicants must be available to work Saturdays on a regular basis. This is a required part of the position and is not negotiable.
Applicants must also be available to work one weekday in addition to Saturday, for a total of approximately 2 shifts per week, depending on store needs.
