Job Summary
100 Plus is a Vegetarian Restaurant and Juice Bar. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Indian Food Service Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, both North and South Indian, ensuring high standards of food safety, and providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes following established recipes and presentation standards
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with care to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in food service, particularly in North Indian cuisines with some experience also with South Indian Cuisines
- Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
