The Pool Shoppe is a well-established, family-owned business serving Hamilton since 1968. We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals to join our growing pool construction team, focusing on renovations for existing inground and on-ground pools.
If you have experience in construction, landscaping, or similar hands-on work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You'll Do
- Assist with pool renovations (scraping, grinding, trenching, and installations)
- Wheelbarrow and transport materials such as concrete, gravel, and soil
- Help with troweling concrete and grouting pool bottoms
- Assist in liner installations, coping, and deck forming
- Work on pool openings, closings, and safety cover installations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite and company vehicles
- Complete daily tasks efficiently and accurately
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in construction and/or landscaping
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and gas-powered equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willing to work in various outdoor conditions (heat, rain, dirt, insects, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Punctual and reliable
- Bondable and legally able to work in Canada
- Available to work 44+ hours per week, including Saturdays in May, June, September, and October
