Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant General Manager to help lead Club Pilates Erin Mills. A primary role of this position is to lead by example and drive membership sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing teams and operations. As the Assistant General Manager, you will work with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of studio operations, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and well-organized environment for clients and staff.
Responsibilities:
The ideal Manager will oversee all Studio functionality and operations with a heavy focus on membership sales and retention of existing members.
Studio Operations:
- Assist the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the studio, including scheduling, maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Enforce policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and manage studio supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and functional.
Team Management:
- Assist in training and supervising of studio staff.
- Provide ongoing support and feedback to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.
- Assist the General Manager in scheduling staff to meet business needs and ensure adequate coverage for all studio activities.
Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Address inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Build strong relationships with clients to enhance retention and satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing:
- Assist in development and execution of marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Monitor sales and memberships, creating and implementing plans to meet revenue goals.
- Analyze and report on studio performance metrics, including client retention, sales, and attendance.
Community Engagement:
- Represent the studio at community events and networking opportunities.
- Cultivate partnerships with local businesses and wellness organizations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of management experience, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry.
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and marketing experience with a track record of meeting revenue goals.
- Confident in generating personal sales and helping in training Sales Reps in sales
- Ability to help manage and drive multiple revenue streams: memberships, retail, and private training
- Knowledge of Pilates or a strong interest in health and wellness.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic and diverse environment.
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement.
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
