We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing dental practice. This is a full-time position for a motivated professional who is passionate about patient care and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures including but not limited to fillings, crown & bridge, extractions, implant procedures, orthodontics, etc.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take quality dental radiographs (X-rays) and dental impressions
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience (required)
- Dental Assistant Level I/II Certification (Canadian Certified)
- HARP Certification_ *REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION*_
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Knowledge of dental software (preferably AbelDent)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Legal ability to work in ON, Canada.
