Looking for a Full Time Experienced Landscaper!
Homebody Landscaping & Gardens is a small family-owned landscaping company that handles both residential and commercial properties.
We are looking for an experienced landscaper to join our small team and to grow with us, as we are taking on an increasing number of new clients.
Please do not apply unless you meet these requirements:
- Minimum one year experience in any landscaping maintenance role
- Experienced and comfortable with line and blade edging, lawn mowing, leaf blowing, shearing, pruning, bed work and weeding etc
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Customer service experience
- Have a valid Canadian drivers license
- Comfortable driving a truck
- Own proper outdoor attire (safety equipment is supplied by Homebody)
- Someone who is a leader as well as comfortable working independently
- A team player, someone who is comfortable working with a small team
The following would be assets but not required:
- Plant knowledge
- Hardscape knowledge
First three months are a probationary period where the wage would be $26.00 - $27.00 p/hr
32 - 40 HRS PER WEEK
After three months, if it is a good fit, wage would increase.
Note: we cannot pay cash
From Dec - Feb we balance Winter work with landscaping maintenance, so there is an option to do salt/snow removal work during Winter at a higher wage.
