Overview
We are seeking an energetic and responsible Mini Flatbed Driver and Drywall Helper to join our dedicated team. In this Mini Driver role, you will be responsible for safely operating a mini flatbed truck to deliver building materials efficiently and professionally. Your focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining excellent customer interactions, and adhering to safety standards throughout your shifts. The Drywall Helper to assist driver at the jobsite with unloading building materials.
G-Driver – drives F550 flatbed. (automatic)
- Load/unload materials in a safe manner minimizing damages
- Load Security using correct tie down
- Utilize Spotter at all times
- Ensure that material loaded and unloaded on vehicle matches the corresponding invoice
- Daily log is completed in the logbook and handed in at the end of working day
- Daily Run sheet is completed and handed in at the end of working day
- Daily Circle Check on vehicle is properly inspected and documented at the beginning of each shift
- Ensure proper documents are available in the vehicle and up to date i.e. CVOR, annual inspection
- Any damages to materials or company vehicle must be reported immediately
- Fill in appropriate document if a vehicle accident occurs
- Vehicle is fueled at the end of each shift
- Driver is to contact Shipping before returning to yard after each delivery is complete
- Customer Courtesy
- Ministry of Transportation regulations are followed daily
- Current Driver’s abstract-mandatory
- Valid Driver’s License is available daily
- Vehicle cleanliness inside and out
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Any duty your Lead Hand/Supervisor/Manager deems necessary
Drywall Helper
- Assist in all aspects of deliveries
- Load/unload building materials in a safe manner at jobsites (drywall, insulation)
- Spotter - Spot driver when unloading and loading materials in restricted areas and when reversing in or out of job sites.
- Load security - help driver
- Warehouse duties
- Knowledge of building materials an asset
