Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. Job starts at the beginning of October 2026.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing activities, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a smooth leasing process for prospective tenants and supporting the operations manager. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, motivation to seek out great potential residents, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible to work weekends based on vacancy needs.
Duties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Assist potential renters with the application process, including data entry and filing of necessary documents.
- Maintain accurate records of leases, tenant information, and property management activities using property management software.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements and renewals.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
- Implement effective customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with clients and vendors.
Experience
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred.
- Proven sales experience with a strong focus on customer service in a property management context is preferred.
- Familiarity with property management systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Experience in data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records is essential.
