About FE CPA
FE CPA is not “another accounting firm.” We are the full-service finance department for growth companies — helping founders and executives move from messy early-stage operations to disciplined, scalable, public-ready finance functions. We partner with clients on day-to-day execution, governance, and strategic finance work so they can focus on growth.
Join a high-impact team that works side-by-side with partners on deals that change companies.
Why this role matters
We are not just an external service firm that touches the surface of the operations, and we are not an internal team that's grinding in a single set of books/industry. If you want hands-on ownership of finance compliance and the impactful career, this is your ideal workplace. You would be given credits for shaping companies as they scale, and founders appreciate our advice and resolutions. You’ll be the senior consultants for multiple clients — investment funds, AI companies, logistics, real estate operations and celebrity brands, so you will gain exposure first-hand.
What you’ll own (Ingredients to Success):
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments
- Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable duties
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, models and budgets
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and systems
- Assist in financial closing reviews
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Manage the central finance email inbox, communicate with various stakeholders, and triage incoming messages
- Support payroll processing and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Intention to pursue CPA designation (we provide support)
- Strong Excel and technology skills (experience with accounting software is a plus)
- Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Why FE CPA is different
- Direct partner exposure. Work directly with partners and clients — not lost in layers of bureaucracy.
- End-to-end ownership. From bookkeeping governance to IPO readiness, you’ll lead the whole lifecycle.
- Real impact & growth. Small team, big responsibilities, fast professional advancement.
- Flexible environment. Hybrid after probation, with a North York office that’s collaborative and client-facing.
- Competitive package. Market-competitive salary + benefits, relocation bonus, with performance incentives and equity considered for senior hires.
- Team culture
