Pharmasave is currently seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists to join our growing team.
Please note: This position is strictly for licensed Pharmacy Technicians. Applicants must have successfully completed an accredited Pharmacy Technician program, be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in Ontario, and have a minimum of three (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Assistants, Pharmacy Students, Pharmacists, or applicants without a Pharmacy Technician diploma and Ontario registration will not be considered.

You must have strong knowledge of Kroll Software, excellent communication skills, be comfortable with Blister/Compliance pack verification and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced community pharmacy.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. This vital role supports pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate patient care, and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent medical knowledge, and a commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Check, prepare, and accurately verify blister packs to ensure all medications are correct, complete, and meet pharmacy quality and safety standards.
- Process prescriptions using Kroll Pharmacy Management Software.
- Manage medication inventory, including receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing medications and supplies.
- Provide outstanding customer service while assisting patients with prescription-related inquiries under pharmacist supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all Ontario College of Pharmacists standards, pharmacy policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support medication administration processes when required, including documentation and patient education.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Minimum of three (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a community or hospital pharmacy.
- Only candidates who hold a Pharmacy Technician diploma and Ontario registration will be considered.
- Strong working knowledge of Kroll Pharmacy Management Software.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and medication dispensing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
