NAPA Auto Parts - Caledonia is seeking a customer-focused and knowledgeable Parts Counter Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers in identifying and purchasing automotive parts and accessories, provide exceptional customer service, and support the daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide professional, friendly service both in person and over the phone.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate automotive parts, tools, and accessories.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale and inventory management systems.
- Research parts availability, pricing, and compatibility using electronic catalogs and databases.
- Receive, stock, and organize inventory while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Assist with order fulfillment, returns, warranties, and special orders.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous automotive parts, retail, or customer service experience is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair processes preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn inventory and point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with stocking inventory.
