Love teaching Reformer? Come grow with us.
Loft Fitness Club is looking for experienced Reformer Pilates instructors to join our team at our Danforth studio.
We're looking for instructors who love what they do, care about delivering an incredible class, and want to be surrounded by other people who are just as excited about getting better.
We want to be really, really good at what we do. And we want to have a lot of fun doing it.
“I'd recommend Loft to an instructor who wants to learn from the best and be part of a team that's determined to BE the best — but in a super fun, supportive and non-intimidating way.”— Kat, Loft Instructor
Why Teach at Loft?
Teach more than one class at a time.
We're currently building out our Reformer schedule at Danforth and have opportunities for instructors to teach multiple classes back-to-back, particularly on evenings and weekends.
Join a team that wants to get better.
We believe great instructors never stop learning. You'll receive ongoing coaching, feedback and professional development from experienced Team Leaders who are invested in helping you grow.
Be part of a genuinely supportive team.
We care about being great, but we're not competitive with each other. We share ideas, learn from one another, celebrate each other's wins and have a lot of fun along the way.
Teach clients who love being here.
Loft has an established community of loyal clients who bring incredible energy to our studios. We want classes to be challenging, thoughtful and effective — but also one of the best parts of someone's day.
Bring your own personality.
We have clear Loft standards and a teaching framework that creates consistency for our clients, but we don't want a team of instructors who all look and sound the same. Your personality, music, coaching style and connection with the room matter.
Build something consistent.
We're looking for instructors who want to become part of the Loft community, build relationships with their clients and establish a consistent presence on our schedule.
We're looking for instructors who:
- Have a minimum of 6 months of Reformer teaching experience
- Have completed relevant Reformer Pilates training/certification
- Have strong knowledge of movement, form and safe progression
- Can provide clear, thoughtful and motivating coaching
- Bring warmth, personality and positive energy to their classes
- Care just as much about the client experience as the workout
- Are reliable, professional and collaborative
- Welcome feedback and genuinely want to keep developing as an instructor
- Can commit to a consistent teaching schedule for a minimum of 12 months
Experience teaching Barre, Mat Pilates, Strength or Yoga is a bonus — we love multi-format instructors!
Current Reformer Opportunities
Our current Reformer opportunities are at our Danforth studio, with availability for multiple classes in a row.
We're particularly looking for instructors who can teach:
- Weekday evenings
- Saturday and/or Sunday mornings
- Multiple back-to-back classes
- Substitute classes when available
We're looking for instructors with approximately 4+ hours of weekly availability and would love to find people interested in building a meaningful, consistent schedule with us.
What You'll Get at Loft
When you join Loft, you're not simply handed a class and left to figure it out.
You'll complete a structured Loft onboarding and training program with our Team Leaders so you feel confident stepping onto the schedule.
If you're an experienced Reformer instructor looking for a place where you can teach more, learn more, keep getting better and have a lot of fun while doing it, we'd love to meet you.
