Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve patients' mobility, function, and overall quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care, with experience in hospital and acute care settings preferred. The Physiotherapist will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective rehabilitative services across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and functional limitations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to promote recovery
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management, and home exercise programs
- Document all patient interactions accurately in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment in compliance with health standards
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital settings with acute care exposure preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation
