Specialty Pharmacy Opportunity – Closed-Door Setting in Hamilton, ON (3–4 Week Contract)

Position Details
- Role: Pharmacist (Independent Contractor)
- Contract Type: Temporary (3–4 weeks)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Location: Hamilton, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours/week)
- Rate: $55/hour – No benefits
What You'll Do
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions, with a focus on complex biologic therapies
- Perform thorough technical checks to ensure precision in every prescription
- Counsel patients on their medications, providing clear guidance on biologic treatments and overall therapy management
- Respond to patient and healthcare provider emails promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patients with chronic and autoimmune conditions
- Maintain accurate medication profiles and manage inventory in a streamlined, closed setting
What You Bring
- Active license with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Experience with Kroll software is a strong asset
- Strong clinical knowledge, especially in biologics and advanced therapies
- A commitment to precision, patient safety, and professional focus
