Experienced Screen Printing Press Operator – One-Year Maternity Leave Position
Location: North Vancouver, BC
Pay: $26.00–$30+ per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts
Position length: Approximately one year, with the possibility of becoming permanent
About the Position
We’re GetBold, a busy screen-printing and embroidery company in North Vancouver, and we’re looking for an experienced screen-printing press operator to join our production team.
This is a one-year maternity leave position, but there may be an opportunity for permanent employment for the right person.
This is not an entry-level or training position. We need someone who can step in and contribute immediately with minimal supervision. You must have hands-on commercial screen-printing experience and be comfortable setting up and operating an automatic press.
We understand the value of an experienced operator and are willing to pay accordingly for someone with the right skills.
Required Experience and Skills
- Commercial screen-printing experience
- Experience setting up and operating an automatic press
- Strong understanding of registration, print quality and production efficiency
- Ability to troubleshoot common printing and press issues
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a busy production environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ink-mixing and colour-matching experience is an asset
