Position Summary
The Junior Business Systems & IT Operations Specialist is the primary onsite technology resource for Imprint Plus.
You won't be expected to be a network engineer or software developer. Instead, you'll help keep our business running by supporting employees, coordinating with our MSP, Business Central consultants, and internal developer, and ensuring our day-to-day technology operates smoothly.
You'll become the internal expert on how our business systems work together while developing valuable experience across IT operations, ERP systems, manufacturing technology, reporting, and business process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Systems Support
- Provide first-level support for Microsoft Business Central, Dynamics CRM, Microsoft 365, Five9, and other business applications.
- Assist employees with day-to-day system questions and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate technology partner while providing clear documentation.
- Help test new Business Central features, updates, and enhancements before they are released.
Vendor Coordination
- Act as the primary internal contact for our MSP, Business Central partner, and other technology vendors.
- Create detailed support tickets and coordinate follow-up until issues are resolved.
- Track open issues and communicate status updates to staff and management.
- Help ensure vendors are working together effectively when multiple systems are involved.
IT Operations
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation and account requests.
- Maintain hardware inventory including laptops, monitors, barcode scanners, tablets, printers, and mobile devices.
- Help coordinate software installations and computer deployments.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of workstations, printers, scanners, and shop floor equipment.
- Serve as the onsite contact for the MSP when physical access to equipment is required.
Manufacturing Technology
- Support technology used throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Assist with barcode scanners, shipping stations, label printers, production workstations, and warehouse equipment.
- Help identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain internal technology documentation.
- Document common procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and automate repetitive tasks.
- Assist with data cleanup and validation projects.
- Assist with technology-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Diploma or degree in Information Systems, Business Technology Management, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a Help Desk, IT Support, Business Systems, Operations, or similar role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow issues through to completion.
- Comfortable working in both an office and manufacturing environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central or another ERP system.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
- Experience supporting printers, barcode scanners, or warehouse technology.
- Exposure to Power BI or Power Automate.
- Experience working with external IT vendors.

Pay: $52,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
