Westpoint Cutting & Design Ltd. is a Waterjet cutting and complete fabrication company located in Acheson mainly supplying products for the automotive, oil and gas, as well as a number of other industries. Currently looking for a person to operate and manage CNC Waterjets.
Requirements
* Forklift experience an asset
* Ability to run a computer necessary to operate CNC equipment
* Ability to identify different types of material (Steel gauges, Aluminum thickness, stainless etc)
* Strong attention to detail required
* Ability to read and measure sheet and part sizes
* Good understanding of mechanical equipment, with the willingness to learn how to repair
* Excellent time management and task prioritization skills, as well as the ability to work unsupervised
* Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
* Passion and care for creating finished product
* Must have reliable transportation to get to Acheson daily
* Work week – Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 4:30. Some overtime may be required
*Wages: Will depend on Experience

Experience:
- Computer experience necessary
- CNC punch knowledge an asset and will be given first consideration
- CNC brake and CNC waterjet experience also an asset
