Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and quality standards
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food handling areas
- Serve dishes to customers efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Follow proper food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
- Support other kitchen staff in daily operations to ensure smooth service flow
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of meal presentation and serving techniques
- Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the kitchen as needed
- Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen experience is a plus
