Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various commercial projects, contributing to the successful completion of tasks while ensuring high-quality standards. This role requires a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the field.
Duties:
- Support lead sprayer ensuring surfaces are properly prepped and cleaned up.
- Support lead sprayer ensuring material is loaded into machine safely and proficiently.
- Set up and take down of equipment when needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements (asset but not required).
- Collaborate with co-workers and other tradespeople to successfully complete work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Experience or knowledge in applied Fireproofing or Thermal spray as a helper or lead sprayer one year minimum.
- Basic skills in construction environment, including preparation & clean up.
- General skills that contribute to working in structures safely and efficiently.
