Looking for a hands-on part-time job where you can stay active and be part of a great team? Lloydminster Nut & Bolt is hiring a Part-Time Warehouse Associate! We’re a one-stop shop for fasteners and industrial supplies, and we’re looking for someone dependable and ready to jump in and help wherever needed.
This position is approximately 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday between our 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. store hours.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES included but are not limited to:
- Pick orders accurately and in a time frame established by Distribution Manager
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking; ensuring accuracy in each stage of the order process
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks or other materials-handling equipment proficiently and safely (training available)
- Help assemble orders and wrap skids as required
- Unpack and store goods in the correct areas ensuring goods are labeled correctly
- Assist in Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control and Modification area when needed
- Other duties as assigned by Distribution Manager
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Warehouse environment
- Weekdays
- Moderate computer use, prolonged hours standing
- Able to consistently lift 40-50 lbs
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma; previous warehouse experience is an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset, but not a requirement
- Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, with tight timelines, doing repetitive tasks
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Team player with a helpful, “can do” attitude
