Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Territory Manager to manage and grow an established territory encompassing Calgary, Southern Alberta, and Southeastern British Columbia.

The successful candidate will inherit an established customer base and existing accounts while being responsible for expanding market share, strengthening relationships, and identifying new opportunities throughout the region.
Position Overview
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing an established portfolio of customers while developing new business opportunities across the territory. You will work closely with flooring retailers, builders, contractors, designers, architects, and commercial end users to increase sales, expand market penetration, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Success in this role will come from your ability to build trusted relationships, identify customer needs, deliver value-driven solutions, and execute a strategic sales plan that drives profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow an established territory with an existing customer base and dealer network.
· Strengthen relationships with current customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
· Expand dealer and retail partnerships throughout Calgary, Southern Alberta, and Southeastern British Columbia.
· Develop business within the construction, architectural, design, builder, and commercial sectors.
· Build relationships with key decision-makers including retailers, contractors, builders, architects, designers, and property developers.
· Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic territory planning and proactive business development.
· Conduct regular customer visits to maintain visibility, strengthen partnerships, and uncover growth opportunities.
· Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to customers and dealer partners.
· Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, market conditions, and product innovations.
· Develop pricing strategies, prepare quotes, proposals, and negotiate agreements that support profitable growth.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and successful project execution.
· Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to management.
· Identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging trends to support long-term business growth.
Qualifications
· Minimum 3–5 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably within flooring, construction materials, building products, interiors, architectural products, or a related industry.
· Proven ability to manage existing accounts while successfully developing new business opportunities.
· Strong relationship-building, networking, and consultative selling skills.
· Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding sales targets.
· Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
· Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and highly organized with strong time-management skills.
· Ability to work independently while effectively managing a large geographic territory.
· Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
· Proficiency with Microsoft 365; CRM experience is considered an asset.
Requirements
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Calgary, Southern Alberta, and Southeastern British Columbia, including occasional overnight travel.
· Ability to conduct frequent in-person customer meetings and territory visits.
