Taz Hair Co. is an upscale, dynamic salon dedicated to excellence in hair artistry and client experience. We’re currently seeking a Salon Apprentice/Assistant to join our talented team and gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional salon environment.
Location: 24 Bellair St. (Yorkville) location
Responsibilities:
- Assist stylists and colorists with daily services and client preparation
- Perform blow-drys and finishing services as required
- Clean and sanitize salon tools, equipment, and workstations
- Maintain cleanliness of the salon (including floors, mirrors, and surfaces)
- Support smooth daily operations by following direction from management and senior stylists
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and communication in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience as a Salon Apprentice or Assistant preferred (1+ year)
- Proficiency with salon tools and basic hair techniques
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
