Job Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Counter Help / Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent service to guests, handling food and beverage orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, including basic kitchen duties and food handling
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while providing exceptional customer service
- Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently through effective time management skills
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Experience with cashiering, food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math skills is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and handle diverse guest needs
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures in a restaurant setting
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
