Adrenaline Earthworks is looking for an experienced Backhoe Operator to join our growing earthworks team.
We’re looking for someone who knows their equipment, takes pride in their work, and can be counted on to show up ready to work every day. This position is ideal for an operator who works well with a crew and understands that being a good operator means more than just sitting in the machine.
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating a backhoe in a construction/earthworks environment
- Strong excavation and grading skills
- Experience working around underground utilities and existing infrastructure
- Ability to excavate safely and accurately around buildings, services and other equipment
- Comfortable loading trucks, trenching, backfilling and completing general earthworks
- Able to perform daily equipment inspections and identify maintenance concerns
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and site hazards
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
- Good communication with foremen, supervisors and ground crews
- Willing to get out of the machine and help the crew when needed

Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous backhoe operating experience required
- Construction/earthworks experience required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to safely perform physical ground work when required
