Position Overview
We’re looking for an Engineering Coordinator to play a key role in supporting mold design and manufacturing projects from concept through production.
In this role, you’ll act as a central connector between engineering teams (both domestic and international), manufacturing, customers, and external partners—ensuring projects stay aligned, on track, and meet both company and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate part feasibility and tool designs with internal and global Redoe teams
- Follow and complete internal checklist and procedures
- Ensure critical design milestones are maintained
- Responsible for bill of materials and files releases for acquisition and manufacturing
- Responsible for design presentation and technical support for customers
- Review and ensure tool designs meet internal standards and customer specifications
- Review and prepare customer documentation for approvals
- Coordinate engineering changes and communicate updates clearly across teams
- Work closely with manufacturing to clarify design intent and resolve technical questions
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
- Familiarity with mold manufacturing quality standards
- Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration
- 10+ years of experience in mold design, injection molding, or toolmaking environments
- Proficiency in CAD (NX w/Mold Wizard preferred)
- Experience working with overseas design teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Automotive tooling experience is required (Lighting/Interior/Exterior/Under-hood)
- Intermediate level part surfacing and feasibility.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Working Environment:
- Mainly office-based within a manufacturing facility
- Occasional visits to the shop floor for validation and project support
- Fast-paced, detail-oriented environment requiring proactive problem-solving and strong communication
