Langley Landscape company looking for a class 1 experienced driver with a clean driver's abstracts with at least 8yrs class 1 driving record. A strong customer service focus, great people skills and a passion for the environment is a big plus!
This individual must have landscape knowledge, experience with operating bobcat & excavators’ equipment, move soil materials and is able to haul a flatbed trailer loaded.

Duties
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to various locations in a timely manner.
- Driving to customers sites on a pre-set route and in-charge of everyday pre- and post-trip inspections
- Complete an assigned daily route as assigned
- Be able to interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
- Dependable, meticulous, and dedicated to carrying out your work with safety in mind
- Ensure safe operation of a truck, while driving, loading and unloading
- Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner
- Attend all Safety or Tool Box Meetings, comply with policies and Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class 1 BC driver license.
- Mechanical knowledge of trucks and their operations is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to move freight efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, dispatchers, and team members effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance in all driving activities.
- Able to demonstrate safe lifting practices of up to 50 lbs
- Previous experience as a truck driver
Work schedule:
- Approximately 30-35 hours per week / 8 hr days Monday to Friday
