A highly technical, strategic and hands-on Adobe Workfront Product Owner responsible for the ongoing evolution, governance, administration and optimization of the Adobe Workfront platform across businesses and geographies. This role will enable digital marketing, campaign management, project delivery and operational workflows while ensuring the platform scales effectively across enterprise teams.
You will serve as the organization's primary Workfront subject matter expert, leading platform strategy, roadmap development, governance, automation, integrations and user adoption. Working closely with Marketing, Technology, Operations, Compliance and business stakeholders, you will ensure Workfront delivers measurable business value through streamlined processes, enterprise visibility and workflow automation.

Position Responsibilities:
Platform Ownership and Strategic Governance
Own the full Adobe Workfront platform lifecycle—from administration and configuration to optimization and enterprise scaling.
Define and maintain a multi-year Workfront product roadmap aligned with digital marketing and operational transformation objectives.
Establish and lead a Workfront Centre of Excellence (CoE) and governance model for platform enhancements and adoption.
Own and prioritize the platform backlog based on business value, technical feasibility and organizational priorities.
Serve as the primary escalation point for platform decisions and governance reviews.
Manage user hierarchy, permissions, security standards and platform governance.
Technical Configuration and Integration
Design, build and maintain Workfront Fusion automations and integrations across enterprise platforms.
Configure and maintain custom forms, templates, workflows, approval processes, request queues, portfolios, programs and dashboards.
Lead release management, testing, deployment and platform enhancement activities.
Partner with enterprise architecture and technology teams to establish integration, security and data standards.
Leverage Workfront Planning, Scenario Planner and Blueprints to support enterprise planning and onboarding.
Digital Marketing Operations and Workflow Enablement
Partner with Digital Marketing, Brand, Customer Experience, Analytics, Legal, Compliance and Technology teams to optimize workflows.
Enable efficient execution of campaigns, projects, initiatives and business processes across segments.
Design scalable workflow frameworks that improve collaboration, transparency, speed-to-market and governance.
Identify process bottlenecks and implement automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency.
Support marketing transformation initiatives and enterprise work management standards.
Portfolio and Resource Management
Use Workfront Planning and Scenario Planner to support prioritization, resource allocation and capacity planning.
Develop executive dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into project health, utilization and portfolio performance.
Define intake and prioritization processes that support strategic decision making.
Monitor platform and operational performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
Consultant Transition and Enterprise Scaling
Lead the transition of platform ownership from external partners to internal teams.
Document configurations, integrations and operating procedures to ensure sustainable platform ownership.
Support onboarding of new business units using standardized governance, templates and best practices.
Evaluate consultant deliverables to ensure scalability, maintainability and alignment with enterprise standards.
Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management
Act as the primary liaison between business and marketing leaders, technology teams and platform users.
Lead change management, training and adoption initiatives across business segments.
Facilitate governance forums, roadmap reviews and executive reporting sessions.
Drive enterprise adoption and continuous improvement of Workfront capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
Deep hands-on expertise administering and configuring Adobe Workfront.
Expert knowledge of custom forms, templates, workflows, reporting, dashboards, permissions and resource management.
Strong Workfront Fusion experience including integrations, API connectivity, automation and error handling.
Experience integrating Workfront with Adobe Experience Cloud, CRM, DAM, marketing automation and enterprise systems.
Experience with SaaS platform administration, release management and support.
Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and product management practices.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Experience Platform is preferred.
Strategic and Leadership Skills
Demonstrated success serving as a Product Owner, Platform Owner or Technology Product Manager.
Ability to define and execute multi-year product roadmaps in complex organizations.
Experience establishing Centres of Excellence and governance frameworks.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership capabilities.
Experience driving enterprise technology adoption and business process transformation.
Industry and Domain Knowledge
Experience supporting digital marketing, marketing operations, customer experience or enterprise workflow management functions.
Experience operating in highly regulated environments is preferred.
Financial services, insurance or asset management experience is considered an asset.
Certifications

Strongly Preferred: Adobe Certified Professional — Adobe Workfront Fusion Developer (AD0-E902)

Preferred: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or PMP
Ideal: Multiple Adobe Workfront certifications and demonstrated enterprise administration experience.
