Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a welcoming attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and upselling popular dishes or beverages to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments received
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and proper food safety practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in serving, upselling, and guest services enhances your suitability for this role
