Are you an enthusiastic, hardworking student looking to work on a full-time basis from May to August 2026?
We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking summer student to join our Edmonton Team. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys a variety of hands-on duties. You will play a key role in helping to maintain our facility grounds and support our team with various tasks.
Tasks assigned would include such things as:
- general yard work
- lawn care and maintenance including cutting grass, and weeding
- general painting duties
- general housekeeping duties in the plant area
- sorting batteries
- perform additional tasks as assigned
- wear personal protective equipment such as respirator, safety goggles, Tyvek coveralls, safety gloves, hard hat and safety boots as necessary
Must be able to work well independently as well as with others in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Eligible applicants are typically students attending a school or post-secondary institution (minimum 18 years of age)
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Display and maintain a strong and positive work ethic.
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors
- Able to operate a basic landscaping equipment (lawn tractor) safely and efficiently is an asset
- Able to use power and hand tools is an asset
Must have reliable transportation to work as we are located in an industrial area with limited access to public transportation
