Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Prior experience in hospitality, hotel, or custodial services is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies to ensure guest comfort
- Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning or custodial tasks as required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment
- Part time as well
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks thoroughly and efficiently
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for both standard and industrial settings is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability are essential
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Prior hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is advantageous but not mandatory
