Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Milling Machinist with 5–10 years of machining experience and a strong background in CNC milling operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing complete machine setups on 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC mills and comfortable working in a low-to-high volume manufacturing environment.
This role involves machining precision components, troubleshooting machining processes, and maintaining consistent quality standards. While much of the work consists of varied machining projects, candidates should also be comfortable running longer production jobs when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete setups and changeovers on 3-axis and 5-axis vertical and 4-axis horizontal CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding as required.
- Verify programs, establish work offsets, and optimize machining processes.
- Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.
- Run production jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, cutting parameters, and workholding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Experience with precision inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
