Role: Senior Business Analyst
Rate: $75-$80 INC per hour
Duration: 6 months (Dec 31st, 2026 - likely extension into 2027)
Location: Downtown, Toronto (2-3 days per week in office)

Lead business analysis activities for a major digital platform RFP initiative.
-
Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, product owners, and external vendors to gather and document detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
-
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements validation meetings.
-
Develop and maintain:
-
Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
-
Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)
-
User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
-
Process Maps and Workflow Documentation
-
Gap Analysis and Current/Future State Assessments
-
Support the development and evaluation of RFP documentation, vendor responses, scoring criteria, and selection recommendations.
-
Conduct solution assessments and validate vendor capabilities against business requirements.
-
Collaborate with project managers and implementation teams to support solution delivery and deployment.
-
Assist with testing strategy, UAT planning, defect management, and business sign-off activities.
-
Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle to ensure traceability and alignment with business objectives.
-
Identify risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities throughout the engagement.
-
Support change management and stakeholder communication activities during implementation.
-
7+ years of Business Analysis experience within enterprise environments.
-
Proven experience leading Digital RFP initiatives from requirements gathering through vendor selection and implementation.
-
Strong experience with:

Requirements elicitation and documentation

Business process mapping
-
Current and future state analysis
-
Vendor evaluations and scoring frameworks

Solution validation and implementation support

Experience working with digital platforms such as:

Customer Experience Platforms
-
Loyalty Platforms
-
Marketing Technology (MarTech)
-
Customer Engagement Platforms
-
CRM Solutions
-
Digital Product Ecosystems
-
Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Experience facilitating executive and cross-functional stakeholder workshops.
-
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
-
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across multiple business groups.
-
Previous experience supporting loyalty, rewards, retail, financial services, or consumer-facing digital programs.
-
Experience working on platform selection, digital transformation, or enterprise modernization initiatives.
-
Knowledge of customer journey mapping and digital experience optimization.
-
Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent is considered an asset.
