We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Professional Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with moving their belongings efficiently and safely, ensuring a positive customer experience. Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items during moves
- Operate equipment such as forklifts when necessary to handle heavy or bulky items
- Transport items to designated locations using appropriate moving techniques and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients throughout the moving process
- Ensure all items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and protecting belongings as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving trucks and equipment before and after each job
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent injuries or accidents during physical tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving, warehouse work, or commercial driving is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with clients
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not required; training may be provided
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward helping clients during stressful transitions
- Valid driver’s license is desirable for roles involving commercial driving responsibilities
- Physical stamina and endurance to handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
