Responsibilities include:
-Setup and operate manual lathes, manual mills, drills and other machine tools
-Read and interpret drawing specifications-Inspect and verify dimensions to tolerance
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years machining experience
- Must be able operate manual lathe, manual mills, drills and other machine tools
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Working to close tolerances and understanding allowance's is a must
- Able to work independently and as a team member
- Must be detail oriented
- Experience with hydraulics/cylinder is an asset
Experience:
- 3 years general machinist
Educational:
- General machinist trade certificate is considered an asset
A small machining test will be conducted during the interview
