We are seeking a skilled and talented Barber/Stylist to join our team at our salon in St.Davids Niagara On The Lake . As a Barber/Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and provide exceptional hair styling services to our valued clients. Duties:
- Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services for clients of all ages and hair types
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on hair care and styling products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with salon policies and regulations
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and greeting clients
- Actively engage with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or requests
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling through ongoing training and professional development
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and welcoming salon atmosphere
- Contribute to retail sales by promoting and selling hair care products
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist or similar role
- communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of various hair cutting techniques, styles, and trends
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with clients
- Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for tools, equipment, and workstations
- Basic computer skills for front desk duties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
