About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Line Lead Technician to join our food manufacturing team. The successful candidate will help oversee production line operations, ensure products are produced efficiently and safely, and support the team in meeting daily production targets.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production line equipment.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery as required.
- Lead and support production line workers during the shift.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to management.
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and adjustments.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace health & safety procedures.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with changeovers and line setup.
- Train and guide employees on proper production procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is an asset.
- Previous experience operating or troubleshooting production machinery.
- Leadership or line lead experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, with the shift changing every month.
